This tomato (GAL 145) is one of about 20 phenotypes from the GAL series crossed with the Galapagos Wild Tomato Hairy Strain (Minor) Type 1 and TYPE 2. This F-2 tomato is a cross from the Galapagos Wild Tomato Hairy Strain (Minor) Type 1 and It is a massive sprawling plant with multiple tendrils that have long woolly hair that latterly hang down like long hair! It produces oblong fruits about 1 inch long and light orange and fuzzy skins.Tomatoes from this variety have a unique flavor of the S. galapagense with a citrus berry kind of flavor. Plants can get to 7 feet long in really good soil but tends to stay around 4 feet tall bushy. It fruits very late in season and not a heavy producer. They have a really nice taste and go great in salads, eating fresh! Open pollinated, indeterminate, woolly regular leaf, cherry, late season, light orange, fresh, salad or sauce, 85 to 120+ days.
