Here is the Kutjera Australian Desert Raisin, Solanum centrale. This wild tomato originates from Central Australia. It is a very rare tomato type to come across! They are a small bush and has a thorny with velvet leaf, perennial plant produces 1/2" sized, brown, raisin tomatoes that have a smooth brown skin and can be a good producing variety. We found this variety to be resistant to most diseases. Germination is random an can take months to sprout. You need to smoke treat the seeds or use GA3 to sprout. This species tends to handle colder climates and grows well in very dry conditions but can withstand high heat summers.
