Here is the Kantakari, Solanum Virginianum, Solanum xanthocarpum. This wild tomato type plant originates from India's arid areas and is also known as Indian nightshade, Yellow-berried nightshade, Surattense nightshade, yellow-fruit nightshade, Thai green eggplant, or Thai striped eggplant. It is a very rare wild tomato type to come across! They are a small bush reaching 31 inches tall and has a thorny stem with smooth leaf, perennial plant produces 1/2" sized, marbled yellow fruits that have a smooth striped skin and can be a good producing variety. We found this variety to be resistant to most diseases. Germination is random an can take weeks to sprout. This species tends to handle colder climates and grows well in semi dry conditions but can withstand high heat summers.
