Here is Capsicum flexuosum Red Flower Pepper, Scoville Units: Unknown SHU. There are about 10 varations of capsicum flexuosum. This listing is for the Capsicum flexuosum Red Flower Pepper. This pepper originates from South East Brazil near São Paulo and is more of a woody shrub then a plant and can reach 5 to 8 feet tall and bushy but if left in pots it stays around 3 feet tall. This species is a Black seed wild variety with very tiny seeds. The fruits range around .25 inches in size and are green that turn to red and at times as many as 3 fruits per node. They can be very heavy producers well over 100 berries per plant. This is among some of the more difficult to start from seed with some seed that can pop up as long as a year later! Here is the Thai Hot Orange Red Pepper, Capsicum annuum, Scoville units: 100,000+ SHU. This is a red variant that comes out of the Thai hot orange pepper from time to time. We usually discard these off pheno's but decided to now offer it. It is an red skinned hot Thai pepper. This variety is widely used in Thai and far east in their cooking and is six times hotter than jalapeno peppers. A single plant can produce up to 200+ peppers. Easily container grown, or as an annual. Beautiful fruits are deep red and when in full fruit the plant makes for an amazing ornamental! Open pollinated. 85 days.

This wild pepper originates from the southern regions of Brazil and is more of a tree then a plant and can reach 10 feet tall. This species is cold hardy down to temperatures as cold as 15 degrees F or lower! It is also a black seed variety with very tiny seeds. The fruits range around .5 inches in size and are red or orange at times. They can be very heavy producers well over 100 pods per plant. Flowers are white with yellow and light red or orange patchs on petals. This is among some of the more difficult to start from seed, some seed can pop up as long as a year later!
